Thanksgiving Weekend 2007

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Of course, the food was wonderful but just being with my family made it great! Charis and Mark always make us feel so welcomed and loved. Friday was the baby shower for Meagan and Todd. Aimee, Shelly, Charis and Ollie did a superb job with the food and decorations...Meagan and Todd got so many nice gifts including the Eddie Bauer high chair from the shower hostess....We had many old friends come...it was more than a shower, it was a reunion!

Saturday was the USC/Clemson game...a fun rivalry...USC lost in the last few second by a field goal...it was a very close and exciting game! We also celebrated Meagan's birthday with her favorite cake...Baskin Robbins...chocolate chip mint and chocolate cake!

Now it's time to get back to New Bern to get ready for all the Christmas stuff... Cheers!

My First Blog Entry

Well...I'm truly amazed how simple this was to set up...Today is Tuesday, November 20, 2007 and Thanksgiving is just 2 days away...Of course, we are going to Spartanburg and staying with Charis and Mark...The whole weekend is jammed packed with fun stuff...Thanksgiving on Thursday, Baby Shower for Meagan on Friday, Carolina/Clemson game on Saturday! Moving away for South Carolina was very hard for me in the beginning but now when we visit we certainly have quality time with our family...I can't wait to see them. :)
